Why DALLASWAHMS.COM? There are hundreds, if not
thousands, of websites and message boards for work at
home moms, so why should we start another?
One of complaint we have heard over and over, when
visiting other message boards, is that rarely does
anyone actually get to meet anyone else in person.
Tiffany had the wonderful idea of starting this website
specifically for the Dallas-Fort Worth area, so that
members who want to meet in person would find the
“friends they haven’t met yet” within an easy distance
for get togethers. We know that WAHMS are sometimes very
isolated from the outside world. You need a place to
share the triumphs and frustrations of being a WAHM, and
you need to socialize with your peer group.
We also feel that an area specific website provides an
opportunity for us to support each others businesses –
do business with a local whenever possible, rather than
someone in another part of the country or world.
It is our goal to make this website and forum The Best.
We have so many plans running around in our heads, we
are dizzy! But, we want this to be YOUR website, so any
suggestions you have as far as what sort of social
events and what information you would like to see here
are most welcome. We will give each suggestion the
utmost consideration.
